What type of vehicles do you lease ?

Our fleet only consists of Honda Fits. All vehicles are right hand drive with automatic transmissions and have been imported from Japan. All have been checked by a certified mechanic and are in very good working condition.

You can add a second driver at no additional cost. Additional drivers past the second driver will incur a fee.

All maintenance and repairs on the vehicle are included. Full comprehensive insurance and vehicle licensing for the duration of the lease. There are no hidden fees, our agreed monthly rate and you are set.

The minimum leasing period is 3 months.

What type of vehicles do you lease?

Our fleet only consists of Honda Fits. All vehicles are right hand drive with automatic transmissions and have been imported from Japan. All have been checked by a certified mechanic and are in very good working condition. They are also all equipped with CD players and FM/AM radios.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. In addition to the prepayment of the first month’s lease, a security deposit of CI$400 is required at signing. The deposit is 100% refundable at the end of the lease if the vehicle is returned in the same condition as at the commencement of the lease.

You must be at least 25 years old and have a clean and valid Driver’s License for at least 3 years.

Additional forms & insurance premium are required for drivers who fit any of the criteria below:

  • are under the age of 25
  • are over the age of 70.
  • have had a traffic offense or accident within the past 5 years
  • have less than 3 years driving experience

This one-time fee is determined by our insurance providers and usually ranges from a minimum of $50 to $250.

The period during which you can drive without a driver's licence in the Cayman Islands depends on your residency status.

Visitors:
If you are a visitor, you are permitted to drive without a Cayman Islands Driver's Licence for up to 6 months from your arrival on the island.

During this 6-month period, you have the opportunity to undertake a written examination at the Department of Vehicle and Driver's Licensing (DVDL) to obtain your Cayman Islands Driver's Licence. After this initial period, both written and road examinations are required.

Work Permit Holders: 
For those holding a work permit, you are allowed to drive without a Cayman Islands Driver's Licence for a period of 3 months from your Work Permit date.

Similarly, during this 3-month period, you have the option to take a written examination at the Department of Vehicle and Driver's Licensing (DVDL) to acquire your Cayman Islands Driver's Licence. After this initial period, both written and road examinations become mandatory.

We endeavour to remind and provide notice regarding the necessity of obtaining your Cayman Islands Driver's Licence, but ultimately, it is your responsibility to ensure its renewal and to research and adhere to the law. Please note that you may not be covered by our insurance if you are in breach of the above regulations.

We reserve the right to pause or terminate the lease if you fail to obtain your licence within the allotted time.
